Plan Your Custom Metal Product Project with Gairun

Gairun is an OEM and ODM manufacturer of custom metal awards and promotional products. We work with event organizers, institutional procurement teams, corporate program managers, brand teams and wholesalers that need to resolve project questions before requesting a quotation.

A custom metal product consultation gives you a direct route to discuss product selection, technical uncertainty, approvals, packaging and shipping responsibilities. Our team can help define the questions that require further review, but feasibility, pricing and delivery remain subject to the actual project requirements.

Is a Project Consultation the Right Contact Route?

Book a consultation when your project includes unresolved choices rather than a complete specification. This route is useful when you are comparing product families, planning a mixed award program, considering an unusual structure or coordinating several decision makers.

If your product, quantity, dimensions and finish are already defined, use the Request a Quote route. For samples, catalogs, file submission or another contact need, visit the contact hub.

Choose a Product Format for the Program

We can discuss how the intended use may affect the choice between custom medals, challenge coins, lapel pins and badges, metal trophies and plaques, keychains and bottle openers. A recognition set may need several related products, while a promotional campaign may need one portable format that suits distribution.

The consultation focuses on narrowing the direction, not reproducing every product specification. Buyers who are still browsing standard categories can first review our custom metal products.

Identify Design Questions That Need Engineering Review

Early concepts often contain details that must be checked before tooling or quotation. These may include sculpted relief, moving or combined parts, enamel areas, printed graphics, attachments and mixed-material assemblies.

Gairun works with zinc alloy, brass, iron, stainless steel and aluminum. Verified production options include die-casting, stamping or die-struck forming, photo etching and hydraulic high relief. Decoration may use soft enamel, imitation hard enamel, screen printing, UV printing or clear epoxy coating. The correct route depends on the design and must be reviewed for each project. Detailed technical findings belong in an engineering review.

Set Clear Artwork and Approval Responsibilities

A consultation can establish who will provide the starting concept, who will review the production direction and which stakeholders must approve artwork or samples. Our 2D and 3D engineering team works with AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Rhino and ZBrush to support design development.

Our project follow-up path covers requirement confirmation, artwork confirmation, sample production, bulk-production updates and shipment tracking. A consultation does not authorize tooling, sampling or production. Formal artwork files and specifications should be sent through the dedicated submission route after the project direction is clearer.

Plan Related Products and Design Versions

Multi-product programs need a shared design system and controlled differences. The discussion can cover award levels, departments, event categories, front-and-back versions and brand elements that must remain consistent.

Complete quantity, dimension, material and finish schedules can be prepared later for the quotation request.

01

Identify which products belong to the same program.

02

Separate shared artwork from version-specific content.

03

Define who reviews each version and who gives final approval.

Match Packaging to Protection and Presentation

Packaging can be discussed according to handling, presentation and distribution needs. Available options include standard anti-scratch packing, individual OPP bags, bubble protection, velvet boxes, paper display boxes and plastic display boxes.

Not every option suits every product. Product dimensions, assembly and presentation goals must be considered before a packaging format is selected.

Discuss Destination and Shipping Responsibilities

Destination, delivery expectations and responsibility handoffs can affect the project plan before final freight details are known. Gairun supports international express, air, sea and rail transport. EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP and DAP trade terms are available for project review.

The consultation can identify which terms need comparison, but it does not confirm freight cost, customs clearance or a transport method. See our international shipping and trade support for more detail.

Bring Enough Context for a Productive Discussion

You do not need a finished specification. Prepare a short summary of the intended use, product ideas under consideration, unresolved technical questions, approval stakeholders and broad packaging or destination concerns. Sketches and reference materials may be discussed, while formal file submission can follow through the correct upload route.

Yes. Related products, award levels, departments and design versions can be discussed together so the later project brief has a clear structure.
An early sketch or reference can support the discussion. It may help identify design questions, but engineering review is required before feasibility is confirmed.
