FACTORY-DIRECT OEM / ODM MANUFACTURING
Custom Keychains and Bottle Openers for Branded Promotions
Gairun is an OEM/ODM manufacturer of custom keychains and bottle openers for brands, retailers, event teams and promotional gift distributors. We produce all-metal keychains, functional bottle openers, leather-metal accessories and related promotional metal gifts.
The right format depends on what the product must do. A metal keychain puts the logo and product shape first. A bottle opener combines branding with a working feature. A leather-metal keychain uses several materials and components to create a different presentation. Send us your artwork, quantity and product specifications to receive a project-specific quotation.
Compare Keychain and Bottle Opener Formats
Start with the role of the accessory. Consider how it will be distributed, carried, sold or presented. The product format affects the artwork layout, component structure and engineering review.
| Accessory format | Best suited to | Main design focus | Key details to provide |
|---|---|---|---|
| All-metal keychain | Logo merchandise, event items, retail accessories and promotional gifts | Shape, emblem, color and metal appearance | Outline, dimensions, front and back artwork, finish and attachment |
| Promotional bottle opener | Functional giveaways, hospitality promotions and branded merchandise | Working opener area combined with visible branding | Opener format, logo position, dimensions, outline and intended use |
| Leather-metal keychain | Mixed-material accessories and branded gift items | Coordination of the leather section, metal emblem and hardware | Component positions, overall size, branding area and hardware direction |
These routes can share metal finishes and decoration methods, but they are not interchangeable. Review the wider custom metal product range, or continue to the relevant accessory type for more detailed product decisions.
Choose an All-Metal Keychain for Logo-Led Artwork
A custom metal keychain is a direct choice when the logo, symbol, character or custom outline is the main feature. The metal body can carry raised or recessed detail, colored areas, printed graphics or a plated surface. The design may use a standard geometric outline or follow the outer shape of the artwork.
We process zinc alloy, brass, iron, stainless steel and aluminum. Material selection is based on the required shape, relief, dimensions, finish and forming method. Not every metal is suitable for every design, so the final route is confirmed after an engineering review.
Use the custom metal keychains page to assess shape, plating, color, attachment and packaging in more detail. For an initial review, identify which visual element must remain most prominent when the keychain is carried or displayed.
Combine Branding with a Working Bottle Opener
A promotional bottle opener must work as an accessory and as a branded product. The opener area needs enough space and clearance to perform its intended function, while the logo and surrounding shape need a clear visual position.
Provide the preferred opener format, product outline, logo location, overall dimensions and any required attachment point. If the opener will also function as a keychain, show where the connecting hardware should sit. Our engineering team reviews the relationship between the decorative body and the working opener area before tooling.
A logo can be incorporated into the body shape, placed in relief, filled with color or applied through a suitable printing method. Feasibility depends on the artwork and opener construction. See custom bottle openers for a closer review of functional edges, clearance and attachment planning.
Coordinate Leather, Metal and Hardware in One Keychain
A leather-metal keychain is an assembled accessory rather than a single formed metal part. It combines a leather section, a custom metal emblem and connecting hardware. Each component must be positioned so that the branding reads correctly and the assembled product follows the intended direction.
Your design brief should show the location of the leather and metal sections, the branding area, the preferred hardware direction and the overall dimensions. Front and back references are useful when the metal emblem or connection point differs on each side.
Leather grade, color, edge treatment and other material details require project-specific confirmation. We do not assume that one leather specification fits every product. Visit the leather and metal keychains page for more detailed component and assembly guidance.
Match Metal Forming and Surface Effects to the Design
The product shape and graphic style guide the production route. Our available forming methods include die-casting, stamping, photo etching and hydraulic high-relief forming. These methods support different combinations of outlines, recessed areas, raised details and dimensional surfaces. Selection follows an artwork and specification review.
Available metal effects include gold, silver, nickel, black nickel, antique bronze, antique silver and dual plating. Sandblasting and matte finishing can change how selected areas reflect light. Decoration options include soft enamel, imitation hard enamel, screen printing, UV printing and clear epoxy coating.
These are available production routes, not a promise that every combination will suit every accessory. The review must consider the base metal, forming method, surface geometry and decoration sequence together.
Relief and formed detail
Useful when the design depends on raised, recessed or sculpted metal features.
Enamel color
Suitable for defined color areas separated by the metal design.
Screen or UV printing
Available for artwork that requires printed graphic treatment.
Clear epoxy
An available coating over selected decorated surfaces.
Dual plating
Creates two metal tones when the artwork provides suitable visual boundaries.
Prepare Artwork for an Accessory Engineering Review
A complete design package helps us assess the product structure and prepare an accurate quotation. Vector artwork is preferred, but we can also review an available PDF or sketch. Our 2D/3D engineering team can prepare a free artwork proof within 24 hours from the source material you supply.
Include the following project information:
The proof gives the buyer and engineering team a shared visual reference. It can show the intended shape, branding position, surface treatment and component arrangement before mold development. Early concepts can also be reviewed when the final production route has not yet been selected.

Plan Samples, Order Quantity and Packaging
The standard minimum order quantity is 100 pieces per design. A 50-piece trial order may be supported for selected products after we review the design and process requirements. It is not a universal MOQ for every keychain or bottle opener project.
Existing stock samples are free and can be used to review general workmanship, finishes and product formats. Courier or delivery cost is confirmed separately. A stock sample does not reproduce your custom artwork. Custom samples normally take 7–10 working days and are used to assess the project-specific design before bulk production.
Standard anti-scratch packing is available for order protection. Custom box packaging can also be reviewed for retail, gift or presentation use. Packaging dimensions and structure need to match the accessory, its hardware and the way the order will be distributed.
Check Production and Inspection Controls for Small Accessories
Accessory production can involve CNC mold engraving, zinc alloy die-casting, precision stamping, polishing, ultrasonic cleaning, coloring, assembly and packaging. The exact sequence depends on the approved construction and decoration method.
Inspection follows the product through key production stages. Incoming metals are checked before production. After mold engraving and trial forming, the first article is compared with the approved drawing for dimensions, thickness and relief detail. Formed parts are checked for burrs, and polished surfaces are checked for flatness.
After plating, inspectors check metal color and adhesion. Colored products are reviewed for overflow or missing color. Final visual inspection covers surface scratches, while assembled accessories are checked for attachment security. These checkpoints reduce the risk of carrying a visible or structural issue into packing.
