FACTORY-DIRECT OEM / ODM MANUFACTURING
Corporate Anniversary Coins Made for Company Milestones
Gairun manufactures corporate anniversary coins for company celebrations, business milestones, employee recognition and internal award programs. We provide OEM and ODM coin production for corporate marketing, HR and recognition teams that need to turn brand assets and commemorative messages into lasting metal keepsakes.
A well-planned coin connects the milestone, recipient and presentation setting. The front, reverse and packaging should work as one branded experience rather than as separate design tasks. Our 2D and 3D engineering team can develop a free artwork proof within 24 hours from vector art, a PDF or a hand-drawn sketch.
To begin a project review, send the event date, logo files, message, quantity, dimensions, finish preferences and packaging needs. We will review the information for artwork development and a project-specific quotation.
Define the Role of the Anniversary Coin
Start by deciding what the coin represents and who will receive it. A company commemorative coin may mark a founding anniversary, a major business milestone, an employee service year or an internal achievement. The purpose affects the wording, visual priority and presentation method.
Recipient groups also shape the design plan. A coin presented to every employee may use one shared message. A service recognition program may need several year versions. An internal award may require different titles or recipient groups while keeping the main brand identity consistent.
If your team is still comparing coins with medals, pins, trophies or plaques, review the broader custom metal product range before selecting a format.
Company anniversary
Connect the company name, founding year and milestone year.
Business milestone
Mark an expansion, product achievement or other confirmed corporate event.
Employee service recognition
Identify a service period or recognition level with clear version control.
Internal award
Combine the company identity with the award name and recipient category.
Organize Logos and Anniversary Brand Elements
A corporate anniversary coin often needs to carry several brand elements in a limited area. These may include the main company logo, an anniversary mark, a founding year, the current milestone year and a campaign phrase. Giving every item equal visual weight can make the design difficult to read.
Choose one primary identity first. This is usually the company logo or anniversary mark. Supporting dates and short wording can then be placed around or below it. If an anniversary campaign already has a fixed logo arrangement, provide that artwork as one unit rather than rebuilding it from separate files.
Send the correct logo version, brand color references and any required legal marks with the design brief. Confirm which logo variations may be used on light, dark or metal-colored backgrounds. This prevents an outdated mark or unapproved color treatment from moving into the artwork proof.
Give the Front and Reverse Different Jobs
The two sides of a corporate anniversary coin should support one message without repeating the same layout. A clear content map makes the coin easier to review and gives each side a defined purpose.
| Coin side | Primary role | Possible content | Review point |
|---|---|---|---|
| Front | Identify the company and milestone | Company logo, anniversary mark, milestone number or date span | Confirm the main element is easy to recognize |
| Reverse | Explain the recognition or commemoration | Short message, company values, recipient group or award wording | Check spelling, text length and reading order |
| Both sides | Maintain one visual system | Shared border style, brand colors and aligned orientation | Confirm the top direction and date format match |
For example, the front may feature the logo and anniversary span, while the reverse carries a short recognition message. An employee recognition coin may place the company identity on the front and the service year or award category on the reverse.
Keep long statements out of the main design area. If a message must be included, identify the words that need the strongest emphasis. Confirm how the front and reverse align when the coin is turned over so that one side does not appear upside down.
Confirm Milestone Dates and Recognition Wording
Dates and names are factual parts of the design, not decorative details. The responsible corporate stakeholder should confirm the official founding date, anniversary span, capitalization, company name and recognition message before tooling begins.
Choose one date format and use it consistently. A founding year and milestone year can appear as two separate dates or as a span. Service recognition variants may use a year count, such as a defined service period, rather than calendar dates. The artwork should make the meaning clear without requiring the recipient to interpret it.
Check all wording in a plain-text list as well as in the visual proof. This makes it easier to catch missing words, incorrect dates and inconsistent capitalization. For programs with several versions, create a simple version record that pairs each message or year with its required quantity.
Match Coin Construction to the Brand Design
Coin construction should follow the artwork, shape, text and intended presentation. Gairun can work with zinc alloy, brass, iron, stainless steel and aluminum. Available forming routes include die-casting, stamping or die-struck production, photo etching and hydraulic relief. Final suitability depends on an artwork and engineering review.
A logo with a formed shape may require a different route from a flat design built around fine lines and text. The coin dimensions, edge shape, raised and recessed areas, and color placement also affect the recommendation. We review these details together rather than choosing a material from appearance alone.
For a broader comparison of coin construction choices, visit our custom challenge coins page. It covers the general material, forming and decoration decisions that apply across commemorative coin projects.
Translate Brand Colors into Metal and Surface Effects
The finish brief should identify which parts of the coin need metal appearance, brand color or printed detail. Available metal treatments include gold, silver, nickel, black nickel, antique bronze and antique silver plating, along with sandblasting and matte finishes. The right direction depends on the artwork and the contrast needed between the logo, dates and surrounding surface.
For color, Gairun provides soft enamel and imitation hard enamel. Screen printing and UV printing are also available for artwork that needs printed detail. A clear epoxy coating can be reviewed when a covered decorated surface is required. Each option changes how the brand appears on metal, so color references should be included in the project files.
Do not rely on a screen image alone to define the expected metal appearance. State the preferred plating, bright or muted surface direction, enamel or print method, and any areas that should remain uncolored. Our engineering team will assess the combination against the coin artwork.
Select Packaging for the Presentation Moment
Packaging should match how the coin will be handed to the recipient, stored and distributed. A bulk employee program may focus on individual separation and surface protection. An executive presentation or formal anniversary event may call for a display box that forms part of the presentation.
Include the packaging type and required quantity in the initial brief. If the package needs company identification or event-specific presentation, explain where the branding should appear. Detailed private-label and box planning is available through our custom packaging service.
Standard anti-scratch packing
Provides the standard protective approach for an order.
Individual OPP bags
Keep coins separated for handling or distribution.
Bubble protection
Adds protection against contact and impact during packing and transport.
Velvet boxes
Support a formal gift or recognition presentation.
Paper display boxes
Provide a presentation format that can be reviewed for private-label needs.
Plastic display boxes
Keep the coin visible while enclosed.
Approve Artwork and Samples Before Bulk Production
The approval path begins with confirmed content. After receiving the logo, dates, message and coin requirements, our 2D and 3D engineering team can prepare a free artwork proof within 24 hours. We can work from vector art, PDFs or hand-drawn sketches.
The free artwork proof is separate from a physical custom sample. Custom sample charges are confirmed for the project. Custom sampling normally takes 7–10 working days. Standard bulk production normally takes 15–20 working days, with the schedule confirmed for the specific design, process and order.
More information about file development and sign-off is available through our artwork design and proofing service.
01
