FACTORY-DIRECT OEM / ODM MANUFACTURING
About Gairun Industries: Company Evidence for Supplier Review
Gairun Industries is a Shenzhen-based OEM and ODM manufacturer of custom metal awards and promotional products. We supply custom medals, challenge coins, lapel pins and badges, metal trophies and plaques, keychains, bottle openers and related metal products.
Established in 2010, we support event organizers, institutional procurement teams, corporate buyers, brand agencies, wholesalers and promotional product channels. Buyers assessing Gairun can use the company evidence below to review our history, export background, engineering support, compliance position and quality framework. For product selection, visit our custom metal products section.
Company Profile and OEM/ODM Sourcing Fit
Gairun operates as a source factory for custom metal product projects. In an OEM relationship, we manufacture from buyer-supplied designs and requirements. In an ODM relationship, our design and engineering team helps develop an initial concept into artwork that can be reviewed for production.
Our product experience covers awards, recognition items, commemorative products and promotional accessories. This scope supports several types of sourcing programs:
- Event awards for marathons, running events and sports competitions
- Recognition products for government, military and public safety organizations
- Corporate awards, anniversary items and branded recognition programs
- Promotional metal merchandise for campaigns and customer programs
- Multi-product supply for awards and promotional gift wholesalers
Product construction, decoration and format decisions vary by project. Buyers comparing medals, coins, pins, trophies, plaques and promotional accessories can review the complete product range rather than treating these formats as interchangeable.
Development Since the 2010 Factory Founding
Gairun was established in 2010 with basic die-casting and stamping lines. Early production focused on lapel pins and basic keychains. This foundation gave the company direct experience in metal forming, tooling and the production controls needed for small custom products.
Later development included automated plating control and automatic color dispensing equipment. The company expanded into soft enamel, imitation hard enamel and three-dimensional relief work. A dedicated export division was also formed to coordinate international OEM and ODM business.
These milestones show how the company moved from a narrower pin and keychain operation to a broader custom metal awards and promotional products supplier. Buyers who need a fuller chronology can review Gairun’s company history.
Export Experience for International Custom Orders
Gairun has more than 10 years of independent export experience. Our export team has worked with international event buyers, institutions, brand customization companies and promotional gift wholesalers across North America, Western Europe, Australia and the Middle East.
We are familiar with customs clearance rules and the review of Harmonized System codes, commonly called HS codes. An HS code is a product classification used by customs authorities to identify traded goods. Classification and clearance requirements can differ by product and destination, so they must be checked for each shipment rather than assumed from a previous order.
Our international coordination covers order information, shipment records and communication through delivery tracking. Detailed transport choices, customs responsibilities and trade terms belong in the shipment plan for the specific order. Buyers conducting a deeper supply review can read about our export experience.
Engineering and Project Support from Concept to Shipment
Our engineering team supports both 2D and 3D product development. The team uses AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Rhino and ZBrush. We can begin from vector artwork, a PDF or a hand-drawn concept, depending on the information available at the start of the project.
Gairun provides free artwork-proof support within 24 hours based on the submitted project information. The proof gives the buyer a visual basis for checking the design before mold production. It does not replace the need to confirm dimensions, product structure, wording, finishes and other order requirements.
A one-to-one project manager follows the order through its main coordination points:
Our B2B service team also provides quotation responses within 24 hours when enough project information is available for review. More detail about roles, software and communication is available on the engineering and project team page.

Stated Product Safety and Compliance Scope
Gairun states that its products comply with RoHS and REACH requirements. We also state that lead, cadmium and nickel release meets the applicable safety requirements of CPSIA and California Proposition 65.
These frameworks address different areas of environmental or chemical safety. RoHS restricts specified hazardous substances. REACH covers the registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of chemicals in the European Union. CPSIA includes United States product safety requirements, while California Proposition 65 addresses exposure warnings for listed chemicals in California.
A buyer’s compliance needs can depend on the product, materials, intended users and destination market. The applicable scope should therefore be identified as part of the order review. These statements do not imply a separate third-party certification or universal approval for every market. Review the declared frameworks and substance scope on our product safety and compliance page.
Shenzhen Factory Identity and Facility Organization
Production is based at an approximately 3,000-square-meter factory in Shenzhen, China. The facility is divided into defined work areas for mold development and CNC engraving, stamping and hydraulic pressing, zinc alloy die-casting, polishing, coloring and epoxy application, quality control, assembly and packaging. It also includes a showroom and warehouse.
This layout establishes where the main production and order-handling functions are organized. Technical questions about equipment, materials, forming methods, plating, coloring and workshop workflow are covered under Manufacturing Capabilities.

Quality Governance from Material Intake to Final Review
Our declared quality framework has four main inspection stages. Incoming quality control checks raw materials, including zinc alloy ingots, brass sheet and iron sheet, for purity and density. First-article inspection compares the trial piece with the 1:1 drawing after mold engraving and trial forming, including its dimensions, thickness and relief detail.
In-process checks follow the product through production. Inspectors check for burrs after die-casting or stamping, surface flatness after polishing, color difference and adhesion after plating, and overfilled or underfilled areas after coloring.
Before shipment, finished products receive a 100% visual inspection for surface scratches. Relevant accessories, including medal ribbons, butterfly clutches and strong magnets, are also checked for secure attachment. The stated physical test areas include cross-hatch tape testing for plating adhesion, salt spray testing for oxidation and rust resistance, and pull testing for medal ribbon connections.
Test duration, acceptance criteria and order-specific requirements must be agreed for the product under review. The detailed inspection sequence is available under Quality Control and Product Testing.
Company Evidence to Check Before Supplier Approval
A useful supplier review should connect company claims to the risks in the planned order. Procurement teams can use the following questions to structure that assessment:
After reviewing the company evidence, compare the required design with Gairun’s custom metal product categories and technical capabilities. For a project-specific quotation, submit the product type, quantity, dimensions, finish, packaging needs and available artwork through the Request a Quote form.
